Stowe Motel & Snowdrift Policies
Pet Information:
There are only a few select rooms on our property that allow pets. Thus, it is mandatory for you to tell us upon making the reservation if you plan to bring a pet. There is a daily $15 pet charge. We welcome a well-behaved pet under the following guidelines: only one pet per room is allowed; a dog must be kept on a leash outside; it cannot disturb other guests; a pet can never be left alone in the room unless in a kennel (and a number where you can be reached); and a pet can never be left alone if it barks.
Cancellation Policy:
Your deposit will be refunded minus a $20 processing fee if notification of cancellation is received prior to the arrival date, as follows: 7 days for regular rooms (non-holiday), 14 days for fireplace efficiencies (non-holiday), 30 days for rooms during holidays, 30 days for apartments and suites, and 60 days for houses. This deposit will be forfeited if your party arrives after the date specified or departs before the final day of your reservation. This policy has been standardized in the area for the mutual benefit of guests and innkeepers.
We suggest you consider travel insurance (such as Travel Guard) to cover any losses incurred if unforeseen circumstances force you to alter your travel plans.
Garuntee Policy:
One Night deposit for "Non-Holiday Reservations" is due at the time of booking. Balance is due at Check-In.
If arrival is after business hours, you are hereby authorizing us to automatically charge your card on file for the balance due within 24 hours of your arrival date.
Hotel Fees:
Tourism support fee or Destination Marketing Fee: A fee that is collected by lodging properties and used to fund tourism initiatives in the area. Stowe’s fee of $3.50 plus tax per night goes towards operating the Go Stowe Visitor Information Center, maintaining the GoStowe.com website, funding strategic marketing campaigns, and supporting local events and small businesses.
Extra Guest Charge: Every room is rated to accommodate a select number of guests. Additional guests are charged at a rate of $12 per guest
DEPOSIT POLICY:
A deposit of 1-2 nights for rooms during the regular season (or 50% for holidays, suites, apartments, and houses) is due upon booking. The balance of the bill is due upon arrival. We gladly accept Visa, MC, Discover, American Express, traveler's checks, and cash for payment.
Non-Smoking Policy:
Since April 1, 2006, all of our units have been smoke-free. Guests may smoke at a distance of 50 feet from any building. A minimum $250 fine will be charged for smoking in a room.

What are your office hours?
Our office hours have been revised. Currently 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM. There is always someone available after hours; information is supplied at check-in.
What type of room amenities do your rooms have?
All of our rooms have standard amenities such as hairdryers, shampoos, lotion, soap, Kleenex, and towels. Our efficiency units also have irons, ironing boards, and microwaves. These items can be requested in any of our rooms, however, at no additional charge, based on availability.
How far are you from Stowe Mountain Resort?
We are only about 5 miles from Stowe Mountain Resort.
How far are you from Stowe Village?
We are 2 miles from Stowe Village.
Do you have bikes?
We have beach cruiser bikes that are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
How far are you from the Stowe Recreation Path?
We are only a few hundred yards from the Stowe Recreation Path.
When is the pool open?
June through September.
What is the minimum age to reserve at the Stowe Motel & Snowdrift?
To rent a room, the minimum age is 18 years old. To rent a house, the minimum age is 25 years old.
